Update on my streaming goals

Hello guys! A little update on my streaming goals for you all and how you can help me get there. We are still far from reaching Partner status, which would obviously be the ultimate achievement should that ever happen, since Twitch takes 50% of all income the streamer gets from subscriptions unless you're Partner.

For those who cannot hit Partner, there is another option called "The Plus Program", which I have briefly spoken about before. I will share a screenshot of where the stream is at in terms of qualifying. If "level 1" is reached, it would mean receiving 60% of the income instead of 50%. At "level 2", it would be 70/30.

The way that the program works is that it adds 1 point every time someone makes a new subscription. Gifted subs are NOT included. Prime is NOT included. A tier 2 subscription adds 2 points and a tier 3 subscription adds a HUGE 6 points to the total. So that means you would need 100 people to subscribe to your channel at tier 1. (Or 17 people to subscribe at tier 3, for example.)
Implementing the Plus Program has made higher tier subscriptions so much more valuable to streamers. Previously, all they did was allow channel points to generate faster and ofc give a higher income to the streamer. But with these changes, they now actually offer a huge amount of support as it can quite dramatically increase the chances to qualify for the program.

I wanted to bring this up because it's now all over Twitch and has been for a while, about the "Plus Program". Subscribing at higher tiers is expensive and barely gives fuck all to the person subscribing. You literally just get one extra emote and more channel points, so if you watch several streams, you're better off subscribing to multiple people to get rid of the annoying ads. It hardly benefits you much as a viewer, and is obviously only something you should EVER do if you can absolutely afford it. In case you are someone who already gifts subscriptions to support me - it would really help me reach my goal if you would consider upgrading your own subscription instead, as it would help immensely with this.
